We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Dubai. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your accounting skills within a leading construction company, contributing to accurate financial record keeping and supporting our project financial management.Responsibilities:- Assist in maintaining financial records and preparing accurate reports.- Support the accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.- Prepare invoices and assist in tracking project expenses to maintain budget compliance.- Collaborate with senior accountants to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.- Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and company policies.- Assist with audit preparation and provide necessary documentation.- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation.- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting department.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.- Familiarity with accounting principles and financial regulations relevant to the UAE.- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.- Strong numerical aptitude with exceptional attention to detail.- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.- Eagerness to learn and grow professionally in the accounting field.- Prior experience in construction accounting is a plus but not required.- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.
