Responsibilities and Duties
- Monitor and control the entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of property and personnel.
- Report and record any suspicious activities, security breaches, or safety hazards.
- Ensure all security and safety systems, such as CCTV and alarms, are functioning properly.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain accurate logs and prepare incident reports as required.
- Support in enforcing company rules, policies, and safety procedures.
- Assist employees and visitors with directions and ensure compliance with site access protocols.
- Check and secure all doors, windows, and gates during and after working hours.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure overall site safety.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Security Guard or in a similar role.
- Good knowledge of public safety and security procedures.
- Physically fit with the ability to stand or patrol for extended periods.
- Strong observation, communication, and reporting skills.
- Basic computer literacy (for logging reports and CCTV monitoring).
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
- Possession of a valid SIRA license is mandatory.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
