Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Waste Collection Truck Driver to operate waste collection vehicles and ensure timely and efficient pickup of refuse, recyclables, or yard waste on assigned routes. The ideal candidate holds a valid UAE License #4 (Heavy Truck) and demonstrates a strong commitment to safety, service, and environmental responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate garbage truck safely along designated routes for waste, recycling, or organic material collection.
- Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
- Pick up waste and recycling containers and ensure proper disposal at designated facilities.
- Assist with loading waste into truck, including operating mechanical lifting systems (automated arms or hydraulic lifts).
- Clean and maintain the truck cab and collection equipment as needed.
- Follow all company policies, safety standards, and local/federal regulations
Requirements:
- Valid UAE License #4
- Minimum of 1-2 year of experience operating commercial vehicles (waste industry preferred).
- Clean driving record (Motor Vehicle Report).
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs, work in outdoor environments, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Familiarity with basic truck maintenance and onboard systems (e.g., route navigation, hydraulic controls)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in residential or commercial waste collection.
- Knowledge of local routes and traffic laws.
