About the Role
Our Creative Department is seeking a talented, detail-oriented, and collaborative Part-Time Graphic Designer to join our team onsite. This position offers a flexible schedule of 16 hours per week (in 4 or 8 hour increments, regularly scheduled days) and is ideal for a skilled designer who thrives in a creative environment and is comfortable balancing multiple projects.
This role is primarily focused on the design and production of both print and digital marketing materials, supporting internal initiatives and public-facing campaigns. You’ll work closely with our Creative team to uphold the integrity of our brand while contributing fresh, engaging design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Update and adapt existing print and digital assets for events and campaigns
- Design brochures, flyers, signage, invitations, and other branded collateral
- Prepare files for professional printing and assist with production logistics
- Support the printing of monthly adoption packet materials and event-related collateral
- Ensure all materials align with brand standards and visual identity guidelines
- Contribute to the development of new marketing and promotional concepts
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet design needs on time and on brand
- Maintain organized project files and asset libraries
Qualifications & Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop required)
- 2+ years of professional graphic design experience (in-house or freelance)
- Strong portfolio showcasing both print and digital work
- Solid understanding of layout, typography, and print production processes
- Ability to work onsite and communicate effectively with team members
- High attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Familiarity with brand guidelines and consistent visual storytelling
- Experience with pre-press setup and preparing final files for printers is a plus

Minimum Qualifications
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to move about the office to access files, office equipment, and supplies.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times (e.g., moving files, office supplies, small packages).
- Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer keyboard, mouse, telephone, copier, printer).
- Visual acuity to read and produce documents, emails, and spreadsheets on screen and in print.
- Occasional standing, bending, or reaching as needed to complete tasks.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person, over the phone, and via email.
