Responsibilities
Our newest opportunity is for a talented Electrical Inspector to join our team based in Dubai, UAE.
We envisage success in this role to include;
- Attend to Inspection Requests (IRs) and take appropriate action promptly in a timely manner.
- Assist the Electrical Engineer in performing the site related duties.
- Review shop drawings and ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, local codes, statutory requirements.
- Report any works not carried out in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor the quality of works and assess site safety, including health and environmental aspects.
- Maintain accurate daily site records, including progress photos, and ensure availability for inspection when required.
- Prepare surveillance and non-conformance reports (NCRs) as necessary to document site deficiencies.
- Ensure effective coordination between electrical works and other related disciplines.
- Conduct snagging and de-snagging inspections and ensure works are completed to the required quality standards.
- Inspect and verify testing and commissioning of MEP equipment and systems to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with the team to ensure successful project handover.
Qualifications
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 7 years of work experience partnered with a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
