An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a large and highly stable HR team, working in one of the UAE’s largest business entities. An exciting role, reporting to the HRD, the role is responsible for the People and their wellbeing within the organisation. It designs, implements and constantly improves employee relations strategy in line with the objectives and needs of the organisation to ensure they remain an employer of choice. We are seeking an individual who cares about people and who can engage with senior stakeholders, contributing to company performance by providing tactical and strategic consulting on people and organisational development strategies in support of the business objectives. There will be significant autonomy in this role and experience in managing employee engagement and retention strategies is required. The role works closely with the recruitment team, leading the onboarding and offboarding functions, and devises and promotes employee wellbeing initiatives. Strong reporting ability is required with excellent communication skills in English and Arabic (a pre-requisite). You will be able to develop and write policies and procedures and assist in with L&D initiatives. This is very much a role for a people’s person!A university degree in Human Resources / CIPD qualification in required with at least ten years of HR experience, with consistent focus on employee relations, and employee development strategies. Excellent knowledge of UAE employment law is required and a strength of character to be able to partner with key stakeholders in a confident, yet diplomatic way. There is considerable room for growth in this organisation, and the successful individual will have an excellent framework around them to support them.
